Chinmay Kannao is an enthusiastic software engineer with leadership qualities and over 4 years of experience in backend engineering. Currently working as a Software Engineer Internship at Varian Medical Systems, Chinmay has previously worked with Qualys as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. During his tenure at Qualys, Chinmay was responsible for building SAC, a real-time network access controller (NDR Solution) from scratch, scaling for millions of devices in the network. He was responsible for end-to-end design, development of microservices, and setting up CI/CD for the product. Furthermore, he was responsible for cross-team functionality and integration, features discussion, and led a team of 2 backend developers for 1 full release cycle. Chinmay's tech stack includes Spring, Java, Kafka, Redis, Microservices, Integration, Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL, Ansible, CI/CD, SQL, Spring Boot, Jenkins, Sentiment Analysis, Cassandra, Elastic Search, and Web. He is skilled in building highly scalable distributed systems and has a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Chinmay holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology. He is a quick learner and always eager to learn new technologies.
