Chinmay Narayan is an Engineer/Teacher with over 16 years of experience in the field of computer science. Currently, he is working at amuselabs as an Engineer where he is leading an email archival and processing project called ePADD. The project is aimed at providing libraries and institutes with a tool to process emails for long-term archiving and dissemination. The project is being developed in collaboration with Special Collections and University Archives, Stanford University Libraries, Harvard University, the Metropolitan New York Library Council, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and University of California, Irvine. The project is funded by the Institute of Museum & Library Studies (IMLS) National Leadership Grant (NLG) for Libraries. Prior to his current role, Chinmay worked as a Faculty Member at Ashoka University, where he designed and taught an undergraduate course on 'Scalable Software Systems'. He also collaborated with the Trivedi Centre of Political Data at Ashoka University to design and implement a system for the management and dissemination of data related to Indian Elections. Chinmay holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where he researched the problem of verifying concurrent programs on relaxed memory models. He worked on logic and tools to verify the correctness of such programs. He also holds an M.Tech. degree from the International Institute of Information Technology and a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science from Uttarakhand Jobs. Chinmay's technical skills include research, software development, and teaching. He is a Research Scientist with expertise in the field of computer science. He has a passion for teaching and has designed and taught several courses in the field of computer science. His experience in both industry and academia has given him a unique perspective on software development and research.
