Chinmay Pai is a seasoned DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in system automation, design, and maintenance of core and security infrastructures. He is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at Zerodha, where he is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's infrastructure. Chinmay has previously worked at erpnext, where he played a key role in incorporating ERPNext into Reliance's Tech Stack and led training sessions on Frappe Framework, Python, and MariaDB for over 60 Engineers/Consultants across two weeks. Chinmay's expertise in infrastructure and security has helped him reduce 75% in monthly cloud computing costs while providing better service and uptime by engineering an in-house server running Proxmox. He has also authored migration manager and automated cloud version upgrade, reducing manual intervention for system upgrades by 95%. Chinmay's contributions to the Frappe Framework include completely rewriting the File API and refactoring the Email module. He has also authored deployer-bot, a bot for deploying test instances on DigitalOcean through GitHub pull requests.
