Chinmay Rudrapatna is a highly skilled software engineer with about three years of experience in software development. He is currently working at Amazon as a software engineer, where he is part of the DynamoDB Global Tables and Streams/Replicator team. He has designed and developed important features for the Re:Invent Preview launch of AWS Glue Elastic Views for the DynamoDB Supplier and built features for streaming DynamoDB writes to Kinesis data streams. In addition, he has worked on designing and developing data plane change data replication from DynamoDB source into Glue Elastic Views for General Availability. Chinmay also worked as an Engineering Intern/Co-op at Cumulus Networks, where he created a tool on the Django framework with an SQL database to parse information from the switches and display relevant information related to the running state of switches. He also added features and fixes to the Python based Network Command Line Utility (NCLU) for Cumulus Linux and worked on creating NCLU 2.0, a rewrite of NCLU from scratch without using deprecated dependencies. Chinmay holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from NC State University Graduate School, which he completed in 2018, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from PES, which he completed in 2015.
