Chinmaya Mishra is a highly motivated and enthusiastic learner in the field of artificial intelligence with a focus on machine learning and deep learning. With over 9 years of relevant experience, he has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as GE-Aviation (Quest Global), Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, Collins Aerospace (UTC), and Microsoft. He has worked on critical projects such as Connected Ecosystem, MRO, and Cyber Security, and has gained exposure to business aspects of AI while working in Bajaj Auto Finance. Currently, Chinmaya is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science from iiit and is working as a Principal Data Scientist at Microsoft, where he is responsible for building intelligence across the M365 Purview suite. He is leading a data science team for M365 Compliance solutions and has a good record of working closely with cross-functional teams across security, operation, marketing, and supply chain. Chinmaya's specialties in AI include machine learning (regression, classification, and clustering), Bayesian models (HMM), deep learning (MLP, sequential model, probabilistic model, and CNN), deep reinforcement learning, genetic algorithm, natural language processing (PLSA, LDA, W2Vec, Glove), and time series forecasting (GARCH, ARIMA, TBAT, Structural Time Series, and VARS). He is also well-versed in big data technologies such as Hadoop, PYSpark, R, Python, SAS, and SPSS, and platforms such as Microsoft Azure (DevOps) and Google Cloud. Apart from his technical expertise, Chinmaya is a sensible team leader with experience in leading midsize teams. He is also passionate about mentoring data science aspirants and has been a speaker at BIL-T conference 21 and RV Institute of Management. Chinmaya holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from IIIT Bangalore, an MBA from Amrita School of Business, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha.
