Chirag Maliwal is a seasoned developer with over 6 years of experience in various domains and technologies such as Blockchain, Python, Nodejs, Docker, AWS, RPA, and project management. He is currently working as an Associate Team Lead and has been involved in many projects in different stages of their life cycles. Chirag is a huge fan of open-source software and an active contributor to GitHub. He actively participates in hackathons, workshops, and meetups. Chirag is passionate about creating full-stack web applications and helping small businesses get their online presence by creating various web apps and software. He is interested in integrating Blockchain technology with current technologies and is eager to learn and work on different types of ‘Consensus’ and protocols used in different blockchains. Chirag is a strong believer that blockchain is the future and has always been open to working on various use cases of implementation. Apart from coding, Chirag is active on Quora and Medium. He is an open-source contributor to Koa Truffle box and Trezor-firmware. Chirag has participated in several hackathons and has won prizes in Techgig Codegladiators Blockchain Hackathon 2018, Consensys India Blockchain Hackathon 2018, and Hacklibra Hackathon 2019. Chirag has a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Global Institute of Technology, Jaipur, and has completed a course in Digital Currencies and Blockchain Technology from the University of Nicosia. He strongly believes in the quote, “Make the change that you want to see in the world” and always strives to write concise and effective code. Chirag is currently working as a Blockchain Evaluator at Great Learning and has previously worked as an Associate Team Lead at Indépendant, where he was responsible for developing and managing the development of a DeFi project. He has also worked as a Blockdegree Campus Ambassador, where he was responsible for creating awareness of blockchain technology among students.
