Chirag Mishra is a dynamic and results-driven product management professional with nearly five years of experience in the technology industry. Currently working as a Technical Product Manager - Intern at eBay, Chirag is responsible for synthesizing customer surveys and performing competitor analysis to articulate customer requirements for a holistic notifications system for 20M eBay sellers. He collaborates with cross-functional teams, including UX, Engineering, and Data Science, to prioritize and scope out a phased product roadmap. Chirag is also a skilled leader who spearheaded the design, development, and infrastructure of a central notifications management system for campaigns on web, mobile, text, email, and APIs. Previously, Chirag worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer 2 and Software Engineer, where he honed his skills in product management, customer insights, leadership, and innovation. At Microsoft, he interviewed customers to articulate the product requirements document for a tool to streamline onboarding and management of new Azure services in the team workflow. He also presented actionable insights to product teams by analyzing customer pain points, bugs, enhancement requests, and feedback from developer forums, resulting in the continual improvement of Azure products. Chirag led a team of five engineers, across geographies and functions, to consistently achieve KPIs across analytics services, defined milestones, deliverables, and scope of work for the team. He initiated the creation of re-usable environments to reproduce customer issues and an online repository of high-quality forum responses, which improved customer experience by reducing turnaround time by 30%. Chirag was the first individual (in a 90-member team of PMs and Engineers) to win quarterly awards in all categories – “Innovation,” “Making a difference,” and “Being a role model.” Chirag holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, which he expects to complete by December 2022.
