Chirag Mittal is a Senior Software Engineer at MakeMyTrip and an ex-Jumbotail employee. With over four years of experience in Android and Flutter application development processes, he has become a professional mobile app developer. Chirag is involved in app architecture, design, development, and testing. Currently, Chirag is developing the entire flights module of Goibibo Android app at MakeMyTrip. He writes new features using Kotlin and maintains legacy features with Java. He is also responsible for writing unit tests for business logic part. Previously, Chirag worked at Jumbotail as a Software Development Engineer where he designed architecture, developed, and tested the main customer-facing Android app called Jumbotail. He also developed internal apps, modules, and libraries. Chirag has worked with Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, and React Native. Chirag also worked at Manprax Software LLP as a Software Engineer where he developed TheTeacherApp Android application based on OpenEdx. He built this app on MVVM architecture, RoboGuice was used for DI, Retrofit was used as HTTP client, and Room for ORM. This app integrates both, OpenEdx LMS platform and WordPress, and has a user-base of more than 250,000. Additionally, Chirag developed ThirdWave mobile application using Flutter for both Android and IOS devices. It is an IoT application used to monitor IoT enabled devices on a large scale. Web sockets are used to connect to MQTT servers for getting data in real-time. He also developed LLF (Language and Learning Foundation) Android application, which is a survey and intramanagement app built with Firebase. It is currently deployed in the state of Haryana, India, for limited users, by the Government of Haryana jointly with a non-profit organisation called LLF. Chirag has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. He also has a Higher Secondary Certification in Science from Shiv Jyoti Sr. Sec. School and a Secondary Certification from D.A.V. Public School.
