Chirag Sharma is a senior at UC Berkeley pursuing a dual major in physics and computer science. With a keen interest in theoretical computer science and physics, he has been exploring topics such as quantum information, complexity theory, approximation algorithms, optimization theory, and deep learning. Currently, Chirag is working as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Berkeley RISE Lab, where he is gaining valuable experience in research methodology and data analysis. Prior to this, he has also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering Computer Sciences (EECS) Theory Group and the University of California San Francisco Abbasi Lab. Chirag's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Honors) and Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, which he is expected to complete in December 2022. He has also completed his Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Program from The International School, Bangalore in 2018. In terms of technical skills, Chirag has experience as a Research Scientist and in Deep Learning. He is a highly motivated and curious individual, always eager to learn and take on new challenges. With a relevant experience of 0.84 years, Chirag is well on his way to becoming a successful researcher in the field of theoretical computer science and physics.
