Chirag Soni is a highly motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. He is a geek at the core and always experimenting with new technologies and frameworks. Chirag is always eager to learn and pick up new skills, making him battle-ready to explore the unknown. Currently, Chirag is working as a Software Engineer Intern at TiVo, one of the leading innovators in the broadcasting and entertainment field. He is a member of the Classic Guides team and deals with TiVo's Passport product offering. Chirag has gained a lot of industry exposure working for TiVo and has learned the ropes of the Agile-Scrum methodology of development. He is also proficient in tools such as JIRA and Confluence for issue tracking and documentation. Chirag has developed tools for in-house use by the team for testing automation and end-to-end environments. He has also worked on bug fixes and feature additions for the Passport offering. Chirag has previously worked as an Associate Software Engineer and Software Engineer at TiVo's Client/UX team. He has worked on UI enhancements and features, bug fixes, and overall product stability. Chirag has collaborated across various teams to ensure optimal performance and transitions. He has also been exposed to HAXE cross-compiler toolkit, SPLUNK, and SPL, allowing him to target both Linux STBs (C++) and modern Android (Java) apps for Streamers. Chirag has also deployed SPLUNK models to track device crash events and traces. He was awarded the TiVo Inventor award for a patent filed, revolving around AR/VR experience and user interaction feedback. Chirag holds a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Lovely Professional University. He also has a Higher Secondary Certificate (CBSE, 12th Standard) from Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, and CBSE 10th Standard from Delhi Public School, Sec-45, Gurgaon. Chirag's technical skills include Software Engineering, UI, Java, Android, test, Javascript, NoSQL, and Flask.
