Chirag Tyagi is an experienced Silicon Engineer at Google, with a focus on Design Verification. He has a proven track record of working with UVM/OVM, SystemVerilog, Verilog & C. Currently, he is working on Google's in-house next-gen Tensor custom processor. Prior to joining Google, Chirag worked as a Senior Design Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, where he worked on Hardware Security Engine subsystem verification for various NXP chips with varied security and complexity. He owned key security blocks such as fuseboxes of ROM containing secret keys, blocks detecting glitches, and handling severe security violations on the chip. Chirag also worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Synopsys, where he focused on Verification IP development with a focus on protocols such as MIPI Camera Serial Interface 2 (CSI2) and Display Serial Interface (DSI) with CPHY/DPHY physical layers. He also worked on compression codecs such as VESA Display Stream Compression (DSC) for MIPI DSI. He actively participated in developments in automotive MIPI Protocol A-PHY in the MIPI Working Group. Chirag holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia. He also completed his High School education in Science from Gagan Bharti Public School. With 5.86 years of relevant experience, Chirag is a skilled Research Scientist who is passionate about designing and verifying complex systems.
