Chiranjib B is an accomplished Engineering Director with over 13 years of experience in the software industry. He started his career as a full-stack software developer using Java EE and related technologies. He then transitioned into Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineering where he worked with NodeJS, Chef, Powershell, Ruby, Python, Javascript, HTML/CSS and AWS. Currently, Chiranjib is a hands-on Director of Engineering at Saltmine, where he is helping shape the future of the real-estate design industry. Chiranjib has extensive experience in software design, code review, and mentoring teams. He has worked with a range of technologies and databases, including MongoDB, Azure, and Oracle DB. He has also worked with JMS, Tibco EMS, Tibco RV, and Shell Scripting. During his time at eGain Corporation, Chiranjib developed and maintained a web-based application to be used by Operations Support and Infrastructure teams. He also developed code to support Cloud Infrastructure automation. He formulated software design and mentored four direct reports. He enabled Infrastructure and Operations Support teams to maximize efficiency. Chiranjib also spent three months in Newbury, United Kingdom, gaining overseas experience. Chiranjib's experience at Citicorp Services India Limited included understanding and developing the code responsible for FXLM trades. He oversaw and worked towards porting of existing legacy code base from vendor companies to CSIL. He interacted with upstream and downstream teams to understand and facilitate software changes as required. He also assisted the Operations Support team to tackle problems in live trades. Chiranjib has a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from NIT Silchar. When he is not working, he enjoys exploring new music and immersing himself in football, both watching and playing. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. With his extensive experience and technical expertise, Chiranjib is a valuable asset to any organization.
