Chiranjit Dutta is a highly experienced Director of Engineering with over 15 years of product development experience in various domains such as e-commerce, retail, online ads, and Oracle HRMS. He is currently serving as the Senior Engineering Manager at Bluehost Maestro engineering team in Newfold Digital (formerly Endurance International Group and Directi) where he manages stakeholder management, product design/architecture, code reviews, and hiring. His major responsibilities include working closely with product managers and program managers for smooth grooming of features, spring planning, and ensuring timely delivery of items. He is also involved in hiring both literal and campus hiring to build a world-class team. Chiranjit is a proponent of Agile methodologies to deliver projects and is well-versed in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, MySQL, and other technologies. Prior to his current role, Chiranjit served as the Senior Engineering Manager at Pharmeasy where he managed inward and outward teams for Warehouse management software. He worked closely with Product Managers and business leaders to identify the road map for the two teams and identify the business problem, define the scope, and prioritize the solution. He also led design/architectural discussions for tech problems and interacted with other teams in Pharmeasy. Chiranjit is proficient in Kotlin, AWS, k8s, MySQL, and other technologies. Chiranjit also served as an SDE-3/Engineering Manager at Tesco where he managed a strong team of engineers to build next-generation technology products in Trading Unit domain. He worked closely with Product/Business to determine the technology roadmap for TUS, and architect and managed the enterprise services. He focused on building highly scalable and highly available enterprise services to be consumed by multiple teams in Tesco. Chiranjit is well-versed in Java, AWS, Microservices (Spring Boot), Apigee, Elastic Search, and other technologies. Chiranjit holds a BE degree in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and an AISSCE degree from the Government Higher Secondary School, Itanagar.
