Dr Chiranjiv Roy is a highly accomplished data scientist and analytics leader with over 20 years of experience in advanced analytics, AI/ML, big data, robotics, and data engineering. He has a PhD in Applied Machine Learning, with more than 18 research publications in leading international journals and conferences, and dual masters in Statistics and Operational Research. He is currently the Global Practice Head of Manufacturing, CPG, Telecom & Sustainability Data Sciences & Applied AI at course5i, where he serves as the VP of Global Data Sciences, Industry 5.0 & Applied AI. Dr Roy has a proven track record of architecting and incubating teams for digital transformation, data analytics, R&D, and cloud SaaS for startups and Fortune 100 companies. He is an expert in data monetization, consumer experience, connected vehicle & mobility, shared services, digital engineering for electric vehicles, IoT, telematics, computer machine vision, data analytics for Industry 4.0, meta-heuristics applied solutions for engineering through human-in-loop, and applied operations research. He has also developed data-driven solutions for Industry 4.0, connected vehicles, telematics, mobility engineering, smart manufacturing, customer analytics, sales & marketing, digital supply chain, computational law, and SaaS-based video and audio analytics. Dr Roy is a visiting faculty member at various renowned institutes such as CET, NIT, IIIT, IIM, IIT, US and Singapore Universities. He is also a keynote speaker, mentor, and board member of the International Group of Artificial Intelligence. Dr Roy has worked for several top companies, including sg analytics and Nissan, where he served as the Vice President of Data Science and was responsible for setting up the practice globally for multiple business units of Nissan. Dr Roy's technical expertise includes AI, senior software engineer, research scientist, data scientist, ML, big data, and data engineering. He has relevant experience of 13.79 years and has been a product architect for 10+ enterprise digital products.
