Chirayu Kainya is a proactive and fast-learning Assistant Manager at Walmart Group's Flipkart, with significant experience in supply chain operations alongside technical expertise in machine learning and algorithms using Python. He is a dynamic data analyst who leverages analytical and methodical skills and relevant expertise to improve business quality with the data they generate. Currently working with the Central FC RC design team, Chirayu's role is to understand the process and reduce costs by finding substitutes for cost-heavy processes. He managed losses in the fulfillment center across India via orphan processes, reducing unproductive inventory by 5% and generating revenue in a few hundred crores. He also planned and implemented guided putaway processes to improve the productivity of the putter by more than 100%, saving around 5 crores on a yearly basis. Before his managerial role, Chirayu worked as a Data Analyst with Data Science teams of logistics and supply chain at Myntra. He maintained inventory hygiene, keeping the speed in place, and performed exploratory data analysis and predictive modeling to plan and give insights on improving processes to reduce losses. He also set up a process to convert bad quality products to sellable inventory and created space and sent plans for liquidation at higher yields. Chirayu has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai and completed his HSC from Shri Tikamdas Purshotam College of Science and SSC from St. Francis. He has relevant experience of 6.10 years and is proficient in Python, ML, and Data Science.
