Chitira Vazhappully is an experienced Product Owner with a focus on eMobility and energy-efficient charging solutions. Currently working at Siemens Technology India, she is responsible for the development and implementation of DepotFinity, an eMobility offering designed to provide energy-efficient charging for fleets of electric vehicles. With over 16 years of experience in the field, Chitira has a proven track record of success in managing complex projects and delivering high-quality products. In her current role as Product Owner, she oversees the development of Electric Vehicle Connect, Charge and Control (EVC3), which provides monitoring and smart charging capabilities for managing electric vehicle depot operations. Chitira has held various positions throughout her career at Siemens, including Project Manager and Scrum Master. As a Project Manager, she was responsible for the development of Spectrum Power 5 (SP5), a SCADA system for controlling and monitoring electrical networks. Her responsibilities included planning and estimation for new releases and hot fixes, scope definition, project monitoring and controlling, and managing global teams and stakeholders. As a Scrum Master, Chitira was responsible for Takt/Sprint planning, retrospection, project tracking, requirement analysis, and support to the team. Chitira holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur, and has completed her education from various institutions including the University of Calicut, Vivekodayam Higher Secondary School, and Holy Family Convent Girls High School. Her technical skills include infra and integration, and she has demonstrated proficiency in these areas throughout her career.
