Chris Llaga is a Data Science Engineer at SimSpace Corporation and a recent graduate in Computational Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Chris has created several cyberattack tools modeled after the MITRE ATT&CK framework, used for targeted simulated hacking, refactored the codebase for the intelligent adversary to make machine learning training faster and more modular, and headed development for the attack orchestrator that connects the intelligent adversary to the hacking engine. Chris has worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Vocalid, where he refactored Amazon Mechanical Turk web page to create a modular A/B testing widget and reviewed 5000+ audio transcriptions for errors. Chris has also worked as an Economic Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he created a database of 100+ countries and their exports between 1910 and the present day, collaborated with graduate students and professors to digitize colonial bookkeeping documents, wrote code to automate this process using R, and facilitated the creation of a freely available academic database for those studying exports. Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Computational Mathematics and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a High School Diploma in Information Technology from Quincy High School.
