Chris Maddox is an accomplished Engineering Manager with a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager | Field Software at Curative, Chris leads a team of engineers focused on providing top-notch services to patients, partners, and field operations staff. His primary goal is to help roll out testing and vaccinations across the nation as quickly, safely, and equitably as possible. Chris is passionate about his work and is always looking for ways to improve the healthcare system. Chris has a proven track record of success in his career. In his role as Team Lead | Insurance Billing Software at Curative, he led a team that built insurance collection and billing software, ensuring that every test and vaccination could be done with zero costs to patients. His team built software that managed hundreds of millions of dollars in claims and integrated with multiple insurance exchanges. In his role as Senior Software Engineer | Field Software, Chris built the first versions of the in-the-field and partner-facing software used by thousands of on-the-ground testing staff, city and state health departments, and internal teams. His work supported tens of millions of COVID-19 tests done across the country. Chris has a strong educational background, having studied Philosophy, Computer Science, and History at Hamilton College. He also holds a high school diploma from Gilman School. Additionally, he completed a program at Y Combinator in 2016. Chris is skilled in Senior Software Engineering, testing, and Software Engineering. He has 9.70 years of relevant experience in the field.
