Chris Min is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a passion for data processing and solving scalability problems. With over 9 years of relevant experience, he has built on-premise, on-cloud, and hybrid data processing pipelines. Chris is proficient in several programming languages, including Scala, Python, Java, SQL, and Bash, and has experience working with a variety of frameworks, including Play Framework, akka, cats, and http4s. He is also familiar with several technologies, such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, and is experienced in working with clouds, such as AWS and Azure. Chris has collaborated with data scientists on several occasions and has dabbled in machine learning using Spark's MLlib, TensorFlow, Weka, and others. He is constantly exploring new technologies to architect the best solution and enjoys learning about new developments in the field. Chris has worked with several companies in the past, including Livongo and YOSS, where he served as Senior Software Engineer, Data and Senior Data/Software Engineer, respectively. At YOSS, he managed two tech teams responsible for implementing the web application and everything related to data. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
