Chris Park is a seasoned software engineer with nearly 12 years of experience in full-stack development. He first discovered his passion for coding in middle school when he wrote an automation script for a game he played with friends. Since then, he has been fascinated by software and hardware and enjoys breaking them down to understand how they work. As a full-stack developer, Chris is proficient in a range of technologies, including Ruby, Javascript, React/Redux, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, CSS, HTML, MongoDB, Express.js, and Node.js. He is currently sharpening his skills in Express.js, Node.js, and Javascript. Chris particularly enjoys helping fellow engineers debug their code and finds it to be one of his favorite aspects of coding. Outside of work, Chris enjoys building computers and roasting his coffee beans on a weekly basis. He finds it satisfying to have direct control over the roasting process and to discover how the coffee tastes with each minor adjustment. Chris currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Hill Sportswear Inc., where he has designed and manufactured 15 different clothing styles that have increased sales and demand for the company's products. He has also established the company's presence by exhibiting at major trade shows annually and developed client relationships with renowned companies such as Diamond Supply Co., securing regular yearly orders. Chris holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from California State Polytechnic University and is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Software Engineering from App Academy, which he is set to complete in 2022. His technical skills include Javascript, Software Engineering, Ruby, NodeJS, MongoDB, and Redux.
