Chris Sano is an experienced Accessibility Architect at Microsoft Teams, with a passion for developing and driving a culture of accountability, diversity, equity, inclusion, growth, and productivity. He values engineering excellence and believes in incorporating processes that allow us to accomplish our goals in the most streamlined manner. Chris has a wide range of experiences, starting as a user experience designer and evolving his skill-set into a rich array of software engineering related expertises. He has delivered various web-based, Windows desktop, iOS, and cross-platform applications and services over the years. Chris is comfortable with a variety of programming languages, including C#, Javascript, Python, Objective-C, Ruby, Swift, and Typescript. He enjoys learning new languages, frameworks, and techniques associated with them. Elixir/Functional Programming is a recent interest that he finds himself spending more and more time on. Chris is looking for technical leadership opportunities where he can lead projects. He doesn't mind people management, but he wants to be down in the trenches with his team as much as possible. Chris holds a degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a Senior Software Engineer, iOS and web developer, Objective-C expert, software engineer, designer, and proficient in Javascript, Typescript, Python, Ruby, and Swift. He is interested in building and driving the vision for inclusive meetings in Microsoft Teams.
