Christi Cherian is a recent graduate in Manufacturing Engineering with a background in Mechanical Engineering. Currently working as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Parker Hannifin, she has gained experience in the manufacturing process of gears used for the assembly process of oil pumps. She has also been a part of a group involved in the value stream mapping of the assembly process of oil pumps to identify wastage and improve the overall material flow during the assembly to reduce assembly time. Christi has also worked with the warehouse manager to do an ABC analysis on the warehouse components to identify the fast-moving parts and improve the accessibility of such parts. Prior to her current role, she completed an internship at Nanvit Motors where she was trained on vehicle maintenance and service procedures (after-sales services) and parts management for the BMW range of cars. Christi holds a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Calicut. She has a strong technical background and is proficient in Javascript, Python, and AngularJS. With 11.45 years of relevant experience, she is eager to apply her skills and knowledge to new challenges in the field of manufacturing engineering. Christi is a self-motivated individual who is passionate about continuous learning and development.
