Christian Molnar is a Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft, leading worldwide engineering teams. With over 26 years of relevant experience, he is a hands-on technical manager with extensive experience in software design and implementation, engineering management, and technology consulting. Christian is passionate about creating performant and reliable software that delights its users and gets the job done while being a pleasure to use. Currently, Christian is the Principal Engineering Manager of the Microsoft Office RDX team, which delivers all of Office’s products to all customers, across all platforms, via one unified, frictionless pipeline that enables fast feedback loops, exposure control, efficient use of audiences, and a hypothesis-driven engineering model. His team owns all of the User Experiences for decision making, which power their ShipRoom, and other key forums. They also own the Audiences Ecosystem, which plays a fundamental role in their ability to find as many of the most severe issues before they reach production. Previously, Christian was the Principal Group Engineering Manager of Global Entry Points, MSOMP, MSN at Microsoft. His job was to lead the development and testing teams that create site features and functionality for the Editorial Media Team to reach half a billion people across the globe that visit the MSN.COM Homepage in 52 languages. Christian was also privileged to lead the team that created the Bing Elections 2012 experience, in partnership with Mark Penn, CVP Strategic and Special Projects for Microsoft. Christian's education background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. He is skilled in senior software engineering, web development, testing, JavaScript, TypeScript, iOS, Azure, UI, product management, SRE, Android, infrastructure, AngularJS, and product design.
