Christian Tschoepe is a mid-senior software engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Software Engineer III at Hatched Labs Inc. where he planned and executed a major refactor on the product catalog across the site. He also worked closely with the data team to lay the groundworks and launch a major customer data platform migration from an old provider. Christian is responsible for interfacing the front-end team on large-scale design system projects and has scoped and launched coupons catalog. Previously, Christian worked at Atlassian and Smartly.io as a Software Engineer II. At Atlassian, he launched retiring old content on Atlassian support docs and led project efforts on TypeScript conversion and helped lead CI/CD pipeline improvements. At Smartly.io, he developed the text engine for the company's web-based video editor and renderer, which has produced millions of video ads for Fortune 500 customers. He also implemented the video and image management system integrated across the company's core offerings, enhancing customers' experience in creating ad campaigns. Christian has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin. He is pursuing full-time positions in Front-End or Full-Stack web development. He hopes to one day start and lead a tech company doing something that will make lives better.
