Christopher B. is a passionate Product Manager, DevOps, and Backend Developer with a keen interest in Computer-Human Interactions and Automation. He started his journey at the age of 8 with an Arduino and has since then moved on to Raspberry Pis, which has fueled his fascination with technology. Christopher is currently working as a Frontend Developer at thefitnessguyonline, where he has implemented Identity and Access Management (IAM) to control permission levels, added SEO metrics to improve search optimization and site traction, and modernized/revamped the layout and designs (UI/UX) of a Personal Training & E-commerce website. Christopher has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science with a focus on Data Science & Backend Web Development/DevOps from Dominican University of California, where he graduated in 2021. He also holds an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Pierce College at Puyallup, where he graduated in 2019, and a High School Diploma in Computer Science from Graham Kapowsin High School, where he graduated in 2015. Christopher has experience working as a Product Manager & Lead Backend Developer at New Harmony Cafe, where he developed a Progressive Web/Mobile Application to solve workplace maintenance issues and managed a team of 5 developers and designers through SCRUM Sprints for a Test-Driven project. He also worked as a Lab Assistant at Pierce College at Puyallup, where he sanitized workstations, took notes with/for a student, and helped the student prepare for and understand the content of their chemistry labs. Christopher's technical skills include Frontend and Backend development, product management, DevOps, mobile development, search optimization, UI design, software engineering, and test-driven development. He is passionate about improving internal team communication and function by improving and polishing out documentation, system workflow, backup contingencies, hosting architecture, and much more.
