Christopher Brown is a skilled software engineer with over 10 years of relevant experience. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Flatiron Health, Christopher is always looking for new challenges that will allow him to exercise his skills. He is proficient in different development environments, languages, and tools and understands the importance of writing clean, maintainable code. Christopher believes that good planning and design are the keys to releasing an excellent product. In his spare time, Christopher enjoys tinkering with robotics and is familiar with electrical components and IoT. He is also a fan of the movie Chappie and used to be a martial arts instructor. Additionally, he builds computers frequently. Christopher has a strong educational background, having completed a Computer Software Engineering program at App Academy in 2018. He also attended UMKC in 2004-2005 and Electronics Institute in 2002-2003, where he studied IT and Computer Science. Christopher has worked for Lifion as an Application Developer, where he developed enterprise applications using Lifion's low-code development platform, NodeJS, and GoLang. He also worked for Twiage as a Software Engineer Intern, where he followed TDD while building a chat application with clients on multiple platforms, built NodeJS/MongoDB API to support the chat application, contributed to Agile workflow during twice daily standups, and worked with DevOps tools including AWS - EC2, Docker, CircleCI, GitHub. Christopher's tech stack includes Software Engineering, NodeJS, Golang, AWS, Docker, MongoDB, iOS, and DevOps. He is passionate about his work and is always looking for new and exciting challenges.
