Christopher Camargo is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in TypeScript, JavaScript, Web Development, Angular, React, UI/UX, and Visualization. He currently works as a Software Engineer at JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory), where he leads the visualization development for a multi-mission product that produces discrete-event simulation models used in mission planning and sequencing. He also designs and develops 2D and 3D visualization software and UI/UX to support ground and flight systems for mission customers such as Europa Clipper, Juno, Psyche, and Mars 2020. Additionally, he designs, develops, and deploys web and cloud-centric software applications for flight missions and operational venues at JPL and across different NASA centers. Before joining JPL, Christopher worked as a Software Engineer at JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory) and built isomorphic web applications for JPL's business division. He also successfully launched a prototype application that was later used to help rebuild JPL's entire timekeeping system. He was identified as a JPL “Top New Talent” and was invited to give a talk to the board of directors for his work. Prior to that, he worked as a Web Developer at EB Research Partnership, where he designed and developed the initial website for what's now the largest 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz and has also studied Computer Science at West Valley College. He graduated from Pioneer High School with a High School Diploma. He has a total of 7.69 years of relevant experience in the industry.
