Christopher Green is a seasoned ML Engineering and Research professional with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently serving as the Sr. Staff Machine Learning Engineer at ShareChat, where he is responsible for driving ML initiatives and research projects. Prior to ShareChat, Christopher worked at Twitter as a Senior ML Engineer, where he was part of the RecSys Research team. There, he was involved in building the next generation of recommender systems for the platform. He also worked as a Sr. ML Engineer at Twitter Cortex, where he developed deep learning models for various projects, including NSFW media detection across Twitter and Periscope, embeddings, home timeline ranking, and ML pipeline automation with Airflow. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from Stony Brook University, and has completed a Data Science program at Galvanize Inc.
