Christopher Hamilton is a Senior Software Engineer at Quicken with over 7 years of relevant experience in software engineering. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science. Christopher is a digital fanatic and an overall life-lover who fell in love with the art of storytelling at a young age, which led to an immersion in all things fantastical, whether literary, digital, or imaginative. Christopher's passion for crafting and sharing a fine-tuned experience was sparked by video games, and he discovered the practical application of that desire in his first computer science course during his second year of college. He is currently satisfying his creative itch at Quicken, developing some sweet software with even sweeter teammates. Christopher's expertise lies in Software Engineering, Redux, Web, and Mobile development. He has worked as a Software Engineer II and Software Engineer I at Quicken, where he was the key full-time developer for the Simplifi web app and worked on the Web and Mobile companion application for Quicken's personal finance software. Christopher's bread and butter is React and Redux, accompanied by a side of beauty code (CSS, bootstrap, MUI). Christopher is a lifelong learner who loves to create and always tries to live life passionately. He is a UC Berkeley grad who is passionate about his work, and he is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow.
