Christopher Litsinger is a Senior Director of Software Development and Engineering with over 28 years of experience. He has a proven track record of assembling talented teams and creating an environment where they thrive. Christopher is an expert in improving processes and culture through iterative, team-driven exploration. He brings a mix of leadership, technical expertise, attention to detail, and superior communication skills. Christopher has experience building services, platform solutions, and multi-tenant Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms with co-located, remote, and hybrid teams. He has developed and executed enterprise technology strategies and built systems at scale. Christopher is constantly working to improve himself as a leader and technologist and shares what he has learned. Currently, Christopher leads teams designing, building, testing, deploying, and operating security tools for developers at Comcast. He processes 800k authentications per month and handles API requests peaking at 157k requests per second. Christopher runs an organization within Comcast’s Cybersecurity department, with three scrum teams responsible for five projects that impact every part of the business. Overall, he works to continually improve the security posture of Comcast’s services through internally developed tools, while reducing developer friction. In addition to his current role, Christopher has held various leadership positions in the past, including Director of Cloud Development at Sungard and Senior Development Engineer at Dechert LLP. At Sungard, he led a 27 member global technical team of managers and engineers responsible for new feature and platform development for Cloud Services. He improved processes and procedures, achieving a 66% improvement in release times and a 50% decrease in testing times. At Dechert LLP, Christopher designed and built automation and tools for a Network Operations department in a medium-sized enterprise. Christopher holds a B.A. in English from the University of Maryland. His technical skills include software engineering, testing, infrastructure, CI/CD, product management, PHP, SQL, MySQL, and iOS.
