Christopher Rudolph is a passionate software engineer with over 15 years of relevant experience. He has a strong academic background in Computer Science from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Christopher is a quality-conscious programmer who loves testing and finding creative ways to design for testability. He is an effective team player known for communicating complex ideas clearly, helping others, and keeping projects moving forward whether in an office or working remotely. Christopher is a fast learner with a history of success taking on new challenges and working in unfamiliar areas. He is a strong oral and written communicator with experience presenting to coworkers, management, customers, and partners. Currently, Christopher is working as a Software Engineer at Omnitech, Inc. where he is responsible for designing and implementing customer features requiring work across many of Business Central's essential microservices. He is also participating in DevOps activities related to the day-to-day operation of their global SaaS service. Previously, Christopher worked at Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. At Microsoft, he contributed to the initiative to transform Dynamics NAV into Dynamics Business Central - an extensible, world-class SaaS service from Microsoft. He worked on critical, low-level areas of the platform including the metadata system, schema synchronization engine, and data access layer. He also designed and implemented the cross-product SmartList Designer query building tool intended to make the GP to Business Central (cloud) transition smoother. Christopher's tech stack includes Software Engineering, testing, designing, Microservices, and DevOps. He is passionate about his work and has a desire to see users satisfied. Christopher is an asset to any team he works with and is always looking for new challenges to take on.
