Ciara Williams is a skilled software engineer with over 6 years of experience in teamwork, critical thinking, and communication. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and is interested in an entry-level position that combines analytical problem-solving with intuition and creativity. Ciara has expertise in game design, Java, Python, MERN web development, mySQL, and UI/UX. Currently, Ciara works as a team member at games@northeastern studio, where she is implementing game design techniques and practical game development knowledge to produce a student-driven 2D platformer with a post-production date of May 2022. She was responsible for scheduling appointments, record-keeping, and patient liaison. Additionally, Ciara worked as a Student Assistant at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering Alumni Development and Relations, where she gained expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. She also assisted in office organization and product reorders. Ciara has a Bachelor's degree in History of Science, Medicine, and Technology from The Johns Hopkins University, a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician from Irvington Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and a Postbaccalaureate in Computer Science from Purchase College, SUNY. She is expected to complete her Master's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University in December 2022.
