Cibi Aananth is a Lead Frontend Engineer at Infilect, with over 6 years of relevant experience in software engineering. He is a tech enthusiast with a passion for using software to solve problems. Cibi's expertise lies in Frontend Development, particularly in JavaScript, React, Redux, Vue, Vuex, Konva, Next.js, Express, Node, Three.js, Web 3.0, MongoDB, Webpack/Parcel, CSS-in-JS, Sass, HTML, Git, Docker, Helm charts, Vercel, TDD with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress. Cibi started his career in a service-based startup, where he developed hybrid mobile apps and web apps using Ionic, Typescript, Angular5, and React. He then moved on to become a Frontend Engineer at Infilect, where he built scalable, dynamic dashboards and various web apps from the ground up using React. After a year, he was promoted to Head of Application Engineering (Front-end) at Infilect, an AI startup solving real-world problems in the retail domain by parsing large-scale visual contents using Computer Vision and Deep Learning. Currently, Cibi works as a Frontend Engineer at Drishti Technologies, where he focuses mostly on the Vue framework working on various web apps. He is passionate about JavaScript and always willing to go hands-on in new technologies, which keeps him up at night with a never-ending thirst to create beautiful, powerful things. His recent hobby project is an animated website using GSAP and mini 3D scenes using Three.js. Cibi's past experience includes guiding Android, IOS, Frontend, and Unity engineers in designing and architecting the customer and internal applications at Infilect. He also engineered the frontend of Infiviz, an Enterprise Saas dashboard that provides visualization and insights in the form of highly configurable charts, stats, and interactive elements, which are powered by data generated by AI models. Moreover, he built a PoC of InfiEye, an AI-Powered store video surveillance that uses image recognition by ingesting live in-store feeds to accurately detect retail shrinkages at retail shelves or checkout counters, as soon as they happen. Cibi holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.
