Cino Jose is a seasoned system and back-end software engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Site Reliability Engineering Manager at Symphony.com, where he leads a team of engineers and provides on-call support for the production platform. Cino's expertise lies in cloud computing, system architecture, software engineering, and distributed systems. He is a subject matter expert in SSL/PKI infrastructure and has written various utilities in Python to automate security space, including security group auto remediation. He has also created Terraform modules for provisioning various security infrastructure, such as IAM, Cloudtrail, ECS, ELB/ALB, Route53, GCE IAM, and GCE Instance group, among others. Prior to his current role, Cino worked as a DevOps Technical Lead at Symphony.com, where he worked on various projects across SRE/SecOps space. He has written various salt states for managing Linux infrastructure and created and deployed a new monitoring stack using Sensu, Salt Stack, Telegraf, Influx, and Grafana. He has also mentored and hired new engineers in his team. Cino has also worked as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Mobile Credit Payment Pte Ltd, where he designed and implemented a continuous integration pipeline using GIT, Jenkins, Nexus, sonarqube, and Docker. He has extensive experience in AWS infrastructure automation and configuration using Ansible/Chef and administration of Windows/Linux servers. He has also developed Jmeter components to automate load testing and ensured that all activities are strictly under PCIDSS. Cino holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Systems from Nanyang Technological University, a Bachelor of Computer Science (Digital Systems Security) from the University of Wollongong, and a Diploma in Information Technology from Republic Polytechnic.
