Clara Chow is a social entrepreneur and innovator with a passion for leveraging technology to address social issues. Currently serving as the Chief Product Officer and Chief Revenue Officer at Piñata Global, she is leading the fintech startup in its mission to revolutionize the rental industry and make rent more rewarding for both renters and landlords. Prior to Piñata, Clara co-founded SkillNav Co, a SaaS tool that helps African businesses skill up their workers to scale up their operations. As the Chief Product Officer, she led the tech and customer success teams in West Africa to serve two client segments: small and medium enterprises and multinational corporations. SkillNav is tackling SDGs 4 and 8 by empowering vulnerable low-skilled youth with transparency and insight into potential roles and career paths, required skills, and compensation and working conditions. Clara's passion for social impact led her to Unleash - Innovation Lab for SDGs, where she served as a Venture Developer and Global Talent for the Sustainable Development Goals. She led a team of innovators from India, Senegal, Tunisia, and Myanmar to prototype solutions that were presented to global experts in the Education/ICT track. She launched SkillNav, a career GPS, to address the global skills gap trapping youth in dead-end work and capping the growth of small businesses across Africa. Clara holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and has over 12 years of relevant experience in product management and research science. She is a UN Innovator for the SDGs and was chosen as one of the top 20 innovators to be incubated by the United Nations in a new program hosted by the government of China. Clara's passion for social impact and technology has led her to make significant contributions to the SDGs and the African business landscape.
