Clark Roberts is an experienced Product & Engineering leader with a passion for solving product and business challenges. He is currently serving as Sr. Director Engineering at TaxBit, where he is responsible for leading the engineering team and driving the development of modern cloud services, operations, and SaaS. With over 15 years of relevant experience, Clark is a bar raiser and needle mover across small, scrappy teams and large global organizations. Clark has a deep technical knowledge of modern cloud service development, operations, and SaaS. He is an effective leader who can move from 0 to 1 or 1 to 100. He has worked with executive leadership on driving cross-company decisions, managing organizational change, and growing the business. Clark is a key participant and stakeholder in due diligence leading to a successful acquisition. Before joining TaxBit, Clark served as Vice President Of Engineering at Bazaarvoice and Curalate. At Bazaarvoice, he drove the integration of organization, product, and systems post-acquisition, including the coordination of global knowledge transfer/handoff. He advised CTO and other senior leaders on strategic projects and developed and executed quarterly goals and investments across a team of 30+ engineers. At Curalate, Clark was accountable for all product development, engineering, and operations across the organization of 35 to 50 people and 8+ multi-disciplinary teams. He transformed Product Operations/KPIs and release management to be more data-driven, leveraging modern platforms like Pendo. He implemented IC & Manager career ladders across engineering, support, & project management roles. He also developed engineering managers and new team leads both in-house and by hiring external. Clark holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering with a minor in Economics from the University of Michigan. He is a senior software engineer with expertise in integration. Clark is a strong leader who can drive cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
