Cliff Schomburg is a highly experienced Business and IT Consultant with expertise in Engineering Systems (DevOps) for Azure SQL DB and Azure Synapse products. With almost 10 years of experience at Microsoft, he found his niche in developing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the build, test, and deployment process for products. Prior to his tenure at Microsoft, Cliff spent over 6 years in the United States Coast Guard, where he conducted training and operations for Search and Rescue and Law Enforcement missions. Cliff is a highly motivated individual with a drive for continuous self-improvement. He strives to do something new that scares him every day, and outside of work, he enjoys training for triathlon races, scuba diving, and traveling. Cliff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in IT Management from Western Governors University. He also holds a certificate from AGH University of Science and Technology. Cliff's technical skill set includes expertise in CI/CD, SQL, Azure, test, DevOps, Search, and Integration.
