Cody Griffin is a seasoned software leader with over a decade of experience in the communications, cloud, and robotics industries. Currently working as a Software Development Manager, Simulation at Amazon, Cody is responsible for leading a team of developers to create simulation software that enables testing and validation of autonomous vehicles. Prior to his current role, Cody spent several years at Brain Corp, where he held various positions, including Chief Software Architect and Engineering Manager. In these roles, he led the development of the BrainOS robotics platform, which included building and testing infrastructure, creating extensible frameworks for robotic workflows and business integrations, and developing cloud infrastructure to monitor and manage the fleet. He was also responsible for ensuring security and compliance, as well as developing perception, mapping, localization, and planning primitives. Additionally, Cody established a long-term architecture roadmap and built out extensive product security infrastructure, including trusted computing and full disk encryption, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the robot software and customer data. Cody holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus. He is skilled in software engineering, infrastructure, and testing, and has over 13 years of relevant experience. Cody is a hands-on leader who is passionate about building and leading high-performing teams to deliver innovative software solutions.
