Cody Kilburn is a creative problem solver with a passion for technology and design. With over 10 years of relevant experience, he has honed his skills in DevOps, mobile, and web development. Cody believes that knowledge is power and freedom, and he has been crafting creative solutions since he was a child. He has a unique ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems. Currently, Cody works as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services for NBCUniversal. In this role, he has designed and programmed improved knowledge base systems and specialized software to enable higher first-level resolutions for a global IT service desk. His efforts have led to an average first-contact resolution improvement of over 62% and a 70% shorter average handle time at L1 IT. He has also created a cross-platform software suite with automated repairs, system health, application installation, and device management for 55,000 end-users, enabling true self-service. Before joining Tata Consultancy Services, Cody worked as a Store Manager at Buckeye Laptop, where he managed inventory, ordering, cash flow, marketing, and employees for two locations in the Ohio market. He also provided on-site IT consultations for companies in the area and wrote Standard Order Practice (SOP) material and other training guides and major company policies aimed at helping employees function more efficiently in the workplace while still providing the best customer service possible in line with company standards and expectations. His efforts led to sales and business growth, enabling expansion from just a single location to over four locations domestically across the USA. Cody also worked as a Team Lead at Sinclair Scope Lab, where he diagnosed and repaired desktops, laptops, cell phones, and tablets. He created a training program for IT college students to work internships at local tech companies, leading to an increase in fresh graduate’s in industry employment rates. Cody holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Sinclair Community College. He loves applying responsive design principles and watching web pages and apps shrink into mobile screens, desktops, and TV and still look great. Cody is a moldable person who keeps his unique identity. He is motivated to get out of bed in the morning by his passion for technology, love of design, and desire to improve the lives of the people around him.
