Cole Goeppinger is a highly accomplished Senior Vice President of Engineering with over 20 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. He is currently leading HackerRank's global engineering workforce across the United States and India, where he is responsible for building the world's premier Developer Skills Platform. As a member of the Executive team and to the board, Cole helps set the company's fundamental strategy and represents Engineering. He has revamped the technical hiring process and grown HackerRank's Product & Engineering organization to over 150 FTEs in partnership with Talent Acquisition. He is also partnering with Product to execute the roadmaps to deliver key business results. Cole has started a new Machine Learning team from scratch, leveraging data insights to help customers evaluate technical talent. He is also an executive sponsor on the company's M&A strategy and is building a world-class Engineer Leadership team. Before joining HackerRank, Cole was the Senior Engineering Manager at Meta, where he supported multiple product teams/managers in Menlo Park and New York City. He founded Recruiting Products' first dedicated Machine Learning team, setting a multi-year vision to bring AI to HR in partnership with Recruiting. He also launched www.metacareers.com to enable a rich digital candidate experience during COVID for remote interviewing and on-boarding. Cole grew Meta from 38k to over 60k FTEs in two years with innovative software in partnership with Recruiting. He created and supported multiple product teams solving hard business-critical problems like leadership hiring, diversity, candidate discovery and engagement, candidate/job matching, referrals, candidate data privacy and compliance, product infra. Cole has also served as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Entelo, where he helped companies build great teams by using social data to identify, qualify, and engage with highly in-demand talent. He built Entelo's Engineering team from four Engineers and a few customers at series A to 40+ Engineers, Data Scientists, and PMs with 600+ customers past series C. He innovated Entelo's data pipeline, data science, machine learning, security, compliance, scalability, stability, and quality. He also achieved and maintained SOC2 Type 2 compliance and helped drive company strategy including running Product and presenting to the board. Cole constantly evolved the Product Development team as Entelo grew quickly, introducing and developing specialties like Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Engineering, DevOps, Architecture, Quality, Design, Business Intelligence, and Search Ranking.
