Colton Walker is an experienced iOS Engineer with a passion for understanding human behavior and the role that technology plays in shaping it. Currently, he works as a Lead Laboratory Technician at Morehouse College, where he is exploring the fascinating world of circadian rhythms in mammals. Colton's hypothesis is that the sustained activation of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors within the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) mediates the ability of light to phase shift the circadian pacemaker. Prior to his work at Morehouse College, Colton worked as a Manager at Walker Built and as an iOS Engineer at Stone Social. At Stone Social, he helped develop a friendship management app that promotes physical interaction among its users. Colton holds a B.A in Psychology from Morehouse College, where he also completed his undergraduate studies. He attended San Leandro High School before that. He is highly skilled in iOS and Swift and has nearly a decade of relevant experience. As an iOS Engineer at Handshake, Colton is excited to continue exploring the intersection of human behavior and technology.
