Corey Farmer is an innovative Information Technology, data analysis, and software programming visionary with over 12 years of relevant experience. He is currently the Director of Platform Engineering at Mercer, where he leads and executes application development projects, data integration activities, and optimizes IT and manufacturing infrastructures. Corey is an advanced user of Python, Object Oriented Programming, scripting languages, and (Non-)RDBMS. He is also skilled in business optimization through the support of strategic processes, policy design, and lean methodology integration. Corey has a demonstrated history of successful systemic process and application implementation. He is proficient in integrating both emerging and traditional methods, resources, and technologies to develop sustainable solutions and successfully achieve objectives. Corey's proficiencies and skills include process optimization and stabilization, internal strategy development, best practice, and policy creation, software development project management, IT infrastructure design and support, app, web, and database design and development, data warehousing, analysis, and reporting. Before joining Mercer, Corey worked as the Lead Integration Architect at Emerus Holdings, Inc., where he developed advanced Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 queries, stored procedures, and functions. He also administered Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and managed Mirth medical data exchange interface engine. Corey conducted SQL and report writing training seminars for various IT department personnel. He was also experienced in administering, utilizing, and conducting training with SAP Business Objects and Data Services ETL processes for the fulfillment of data analysis and Business Intelligence initiatives. Corey also worked as the Director of Center of Excellence at Mercer Digital, where he deployed agile integration solutions and utilized Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design principals and common & advanced integration design patterns. He worked directly with customers and product vendors to design an integration architecture for their Workday Implementation Project. Corey is an experienced mentor & trainer for new integration consultants. Corey holds a Masters of Business Administration in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University and a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Angelo State University.
