Corey Walker is an experienced front-end software developer with over 10 years of experience at McAfee. He is currently the Head of Engineering and Customer Execution at Lineaje, where he manages the development and maintenance of a complex software application. He is a certified Product Owner and Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance and has experience leading a SIEM Tiger Team of 12 engineers in sustaining efforts to improve the quality of the product and engineering processes. Corey is passionate about how end-users interact with websites and software platforms and making a product that leads an industry. His passion, combined with his leadership skills, unique ability to collaborate, problem-solving abilities, and determination, make him a strong addition to any engineering team. Corey is educated at Brigham Young University - Idaho and Nova Southeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology and master’s degree in Information Systems Management, respectively. He recently earned a certificate for Full Stack Web Development from the University of Oregon, with newly developed skills in Javascript, Node.js, CSS, and responsive web design. He has a diverse tech stack that includes Senior Software Engineer, Web, test, Javascript, Research Scientist, NodeJS, ui, Frontend, Software Engineer, and Search. Prior to his current role, Corey was a Software Engineering Manager at McAfee, where he provided input or owned the development and maintenance of part of a software application with the objective of developing high-quality code in accordance with a product's functional specification. He also fixed faulty product features in a timely and high-quality manner, provided technical input for product sub-system, and/or application research, design, analysis, testing, process improvement, and troubleshooting. Before joining McAfee, Corey was a Technician Manager at Silver Creek Pest Control, where he treated customer's homes for a variety of pests and managed the company's remote office, including daily operations, maintenance, and training of technicians.
