Craig Dobson is an innovative technologist with over 20 years of relevant experience and a passion for product development. He is currently the Founder and Owner of Yellow Cloud Solutions, LLC, a company that specializes in Cloud, Big Data, Machine Learning, and Custom Software. Craig is a skilled AWS expert with a proven track record of leading teams and ideas. In his previous role as a Senior Solutions Architect at AAA, Craig worked closely with executives to ensure their vision and strategy for the future were sound and sustainable. He played a key role in many important strategic initiatives, including creating a federated identity management system for AAA’s 60 million members, designing the architecture for the next generation of AAA's emergency roadside assistance solution (in the cloud), and managing software development leads to ensure their solution implementations fit the company strategy. Before AAA, Craig was a Senior Software Engineer at Outstart Inc./Kenexa/IBM, where he worked on the Product Strategy team to design, develop, and implement software for the Learning Content Management Systems sector. He was involved in all aspects of the engineering life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, project management, unit testing, regression testing, and release management. Craig's expertise in Java REST API, content rating system, and media thumb nailing SDK/APIs was instrumental in integrating the LCMS into IBM’s Smarter Workforce social business solution suite. Craig holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Information Systems from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from Stetson University. His tech stack includes AWS, Senior Software Engineer, Big Data, ML, Software Engineer, Integration, test, Java, Search, and Web.
