Cristian Rivera is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working at Share Local Media as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. Cristian has a strong background in Ruby, Terraform, Microservices, SQL, AWS, PHP, and Integration, which enables him to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet his clients' needs. Before joining Share Local Media, Cristian worked at Aircall as a Software Engineer. While there, he migrated the largest monolith from Rails 4 to 5 while incrementing Ruby versions. He also increased unit test coverage for Sidekiq jobs by over 40% and removed legacy telephony provider while maintaining 100% uptime. Cristian Dockerized 3 microservices and established infrastructure as code using Terraform. He built internal tooling that streams command output from remote containers without SSH. Cristian also worked at Brownstein Group as a Software Engineer, where he managed the Digital Publishing Platform for English and Spanish brochures.
