Cutter Coryell is a versatile physics-trained product engineer and inventor currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Google. With 8.79 years of relevant experience, he has a strong background in machine learning, software engineering, computer vision, and research science. Coryell has worked with a variety of companies in the past, including Opter, where he served as Interim CEO and was responsible for overall company management and business development. He has also worked as a Computer Vision Researcher at the Center for Cognition, Vision, and Learning, where he compared the performance of Recursive Compositional Models to that of Deep Networks in detecting specific human poses. During this time, he acquired a variety of machine learning and computer vision techniques, including perceptrons, deep neural networks, convolutional neural networks, Bayesian networks, recursive compositional models, support vector machines, dynamic programming, gradient descent, and back-propagation.
