Cuyler Quint is a self-taught, well-rounded software engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in designing, developing, and deploying API's for various clients. He is currently working as a Backend Software Engineer at Lastline Inc. where he has improved the source code of internal Debian packages, developed MYSQL tables and queries for large scale data sets, and worked on distributed system development with package dependencies. Cuyler is a self-starter who is comfortable working on small, large, and remote teams. He loves building products from the ground up and contributing opinions at all levels of development. He is a quick learner and has a proven ability to adjust quickly to new environments. Prior to his current role, Cuyler worked at Ford as a Software Engineer where he developed test suites to automate manual actions for in-vehicle touch screens and refactored and improved internal APIs of the custom testing framework. He also worked as a Research Assistant at Central Michigan University where he prototyped multiple modules with various sensors for IoT concepts and gathered and prepared data for IEEE conference papers. Cuyler holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Central Michigan University. He has a strong tech stack that includes Software Engineering, Backend development, testing, MySQL, infrastructure, Android, iOS, integration, and research science.
