Responsibilities:
Developing server-side code for internal and external web applications. Writing unit tests, automated regression tests and tracking defects as they occur. Supporting and assisting Atlassian customers from around the globe using our products to further their businesses.

The role of the Software Developer Intern is to undertake, under the guidance of a mentor, software application development on applications in a suite of Products (including new ones), contributing to new or improved experiences for Xero's customers, internal and external.

Work on embedded low cost microcontrollers programming in C under the direct supervision of an engineer.  Partner with electrical and mechanical engineers to achieve project goals. Assist in designing, building and testing systems to meet specified requirements. Identify functional requirements and develop well defined tasks. Contribute to overall project planning to define goals and timelines. Evaluates new technologies as required. Learn how to use and apply engineering tools relevant for performing the essential functions of this job.
