Daivik Agrawal is a sophomore at IIT Kharagpur pursuing Mechanical Engineering. He has a keen interest in Machine learning and Data Science and is exploring the intersection between machine learning and mechanical engineering. With a Grade 8 (advanced) drumming certification from Trinity College London, he has played both live and recorded music in the past. Currently, Daivik is working as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. In the past, he has interned as an Embedded Software Engineer at Genesis Gas Solutions (P) Ltd. where he explored Arduino MEGA 2560 to operate a Liquid Crystal Display and a Seven Segment Display. He also developed a Digital Pin Password Lock with operations including entering, creating, and resetting the password whilst displaying appropriate response on an LCD screen using Arduino IDE and Proteus Design Suite. Additionally, he utilized ESP32 to operate light-emitting diodes using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi through a local web server and an Android app developed using MIT app inventor. He also operated and calibrated a Passive infrared sensor (PIR sensor) to detect motion. Daivik has also held the position of Secretary, Fine Arts and Modelling Sub-Committee, Technology Students' Gymkhana, I.I.T Kharagpur. In this role, he organized various events such as an art competition called Paint-Demic to raise awareness about Covid-19 protocols, created and supervised online content for 11 states and 1 union territory under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) program launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at IIT Kharagpur, and orchestrated Thermocol and Clay Modelling Gymkhana Championship receiving participation from 14 (out of 21) hall of residences totaling to 84 participants. He also staged Cartooning Gymkhana Championship receiving participation from 15 (out of 21) hall of residences totaling to 45 participants and organized Sketching Gymkhana Championship receiving participation from 14 (out of 21) hall of residences totaling to 42 participants. Daivik's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, which he is expected to complete in 2025.
