Daksh Paleria is a final year student at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and a talented web and android developer with a passion for open-source projects. With a wealth of experience in multiple technologies, Daksh has become an expert in android development using Flutter, web development, and DevOps. He has gained much of his experience through open-source projects, including his participation in Google Summer of Code 2021 (GSoC '21) with Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative (CDLI), where he honed his skills in these tech stacks. Daksh is also an avid blockchain developer and has secured a position in Summer of Bitcoin 2022 (SoB '22) with bcoin. During his time there, he worked on implementing the Taproot soft fork on bcoin, an alternative implementation of the Bitcoin protocol written in JavaScript. Daksh's impressive contributions include developing the addition of Taproot (BIP 340, 341, and 342) validation to the bcoin node and wallet, analyzing the three major Bitcoin Improvement Proposals (BIPs), and leading the complete revamp of the bcoin node and wallet by implementing all the necessary changes in the three BIPs. Daksh's experience also includes serving as a Senior Core Committee Member and Core Committee Member at iet on campus vit. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science Engineering from VIT, and he attended St. Xavier's High School Vapi. With a strong background in software engineering, Bitcoin, web development, Android, JavaScript, blockchain, DevOps, Flutter, Docker, and PHP, Daksh is a well-rounded developer with a bright future ahead.
